Corrosion Probe, Inc. (CPI) is seeking a mid-level structural engineer to perform inspection, testing, analysis, repair/protection design, and construction services for structural and mechanical systems in environmental and industrial facilities. The position combines both office and site work (predominantly in the Northeast, occasionally in other domestic regions, infrequently internationally), along with direct client contact, business development, and professional activities. Requirements include a B.S. in Civil Engineering or comparable degree; 5 to 15 years of experience in structural analysis, design, and contract document production; E.I.T. or P.E. registration; proficiency in written and oral communication; competency in calculation, database, and drawing software; ability to work both independently and on a team; and willingness to travel periodically (one week per month on average). Additional beneficial experience includes corrosion assessment and prevention (especially NACE, SSPC, or API certification); construction/industrial site safety; civil, environmental, or process engineering; and construction management.
