We warmly thank all those who submitted nominations for 2014 and we strongly encourage re-submission for the 2015 New England Achievement Award.
 

Each February, Engineers Week - New England confers the New England Achievement Award to celebrate an individual who has furthered the field of engineering.

Recent New England Achievement Award Winners:

 

2014      Colin Angle, CEO, Chairman and Co-Founder of iRobot Corporation, for advancements in navigation, mobility, manipulation and artificial intelligence within the robotic industry

 

2013       Dr. Karen Panetta, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Tufts University and Director of the Simulation Research Laboratory

 

2012       Anna Mracek Dietrich, co-founder of Terrafugia, maker of the world's first practical air-to-road vehicle

2011       Bernard Gordon, National Academy of  Engineering - Inventor, entrepreneur and philanthropist who supports  engineering leadership education through grants to academic institutions
 
2010       Kevin Kit Parker, Harvard Medical School - Teacher, researcher and soldier who has brought insights from mechanical engineering to the study of traumatic brain injury
