1. Before you begin registration, go to: https://malegislature.gov/Search/FindMyLegislator

Find the exact names of your State Senator and your State Representative, based on where you live/vote. Save these names to provide them when you register on the link below.

2. Then go to this Registration Link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ELS-TR2022

We plan to organize teams of constituent engineers and land surveyors based on their legislative districts.

We are holding this event virtually. We have several appointments with legislative leaders on May 10, 16 and 17.

If you sign up, we'll send you Outlook appointments for all of the remaining confirmed appointment listed below. Separately we will ask you and others from your districts to set up your own appointments with your legislators.

10 am- Representative Sean Garballey, Chair of the House Committee on Global Warming and Climate Change

Tuesday, May 17

11:00 am- Senator Jamie Eldridge, Vice Chair, Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture

Separately, we'll ask you to contact your State Representative and your State Senator based on where you live/vote. It is important for legislators to hear from us.

3. Advance Briefing Sessions: We plan to hold three Issues Briefing Sessions in May on Zoom to give you background information on the issues we will be asking you to discuss with your legislators. The sessions will be held on May 4 and May 6. We will post a power point on the issues for you to use if you are calling into a briefing session.

Background:

This is a free virtual series of events for members of ACEC/MA, BSCES, MALSCE, other associations affiliated with The Engineering Center Education Trust (TECET), and Public Members of the Massachusetts Highway Association or the MMA Policy Committee on Public Works, Transportation & Public Utilities. Please only register for this event if you live in and vote in Massachusetts. If you live outside Massachusetts, please do not plan to participate in Engineers and Land Surveyors Virtually at the State House, unless you are serving as a team captain.
