In March 2020, the world virtually stopped due to the pandemic. Millions of people in traditional office positions suddenly found themselves working from home for “two weeks,” which has now become a year. This sudden move to work-at-home has affected many aspects of life and work and has exacerbated social issues, has affected employee health, productivity and safety, and has impacted the risk management strategies of companies around the world.
Join Tim Pottorff, MSc., CIE, ARM of QP3 ErgoSystems for a look at these issues. Tim has been an Ergonomics professional for nearly 30-years, and has worked with many top companies on a global basis. During his time at Zurich Services Corporation, he pioneered the concept of remote workstation assessments and led 2 ½ year ergonomics effort for the award-winning, $450 million Zurich North America HQ facility near Chicago. The QP3 ErgoSystems team spans the globe with ergonomics & safety professionals assisting clients in the English, Spanish, German, French and Japanese languages.
