The Engineering Center Education Trust Scholarship is offered for the benefit of eligible Massachusetts high school seniors and has a total value of $10,000. The scholarship will be awarded to one student and paid in increments of $2,500 per year.
Applications for the 2026 scholarship are now available. The deadline is May 1, 2026.
To be eligible for the TECET Scholarship you must be a high school senior who resides in Massachusetts and plans to attend a four year ABET accredited engineering, land surveying, or a pre-engineering program including those at community colleges, and intends to major in an eligible discipline. A list of eligible disciplines is below. Although applicants must be residents of Massachusetts, the college/university you will attend can be in any U.S. state or its territories.

TECET is sponsored by three organizations: American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts (ACEC/MA), Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section/ASCE (BSCES), and Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE), and we offer this scholarship with the intention to promote the engineering disciplines supported by these organizations. Therefore, the TECET Scholarship is offered for students intending to study in the following engineering or land surveying concentrations: Civil, Construction, Management, Environmental, Water Resources (including wastewater), Natural Resources, Ocean and Coastal, Sustainability, Geotechnical, Geospatial, Geomatics, Structural, Transportation, Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection.

The recipient must remain enrolled in a qualified four year engineering or land surveying program, major in an eligible discipline, and provide yearly enrollment verification in order to receive each installment. If the recipient changes their major to a discipline that is not eligible for this scholarship then any remaining installments will not be paid out. The first installment will be paid no earlier than July 1, 2026 and only after we receive enrollment verification for Fall 2026.
